Crash Fever English Wiki

As a new player in the Crash Fever universe, there are a few things you must first ask yourself before you start playing.

  • Do I want to play the English Version?

This question is important because the English version is still catching up to the TW and JP versions, with the TW version being slightly ahead and JP version being 8-12 months ahead. This means, JP has significantly more quests, units, UI updates and region only collaborations. The KR version is about the same as the ENG version in terms of content progression. Should you decide to play Global, then please keep reading. If you decide to play JP, please check out the JP section of the wikia under Guides for translations for everything you need to know to play JP as someone who can't read it.

  • Am I going to be F2P?

In terms of the second question, I must make it clear that this is a mobage game. (A business model where 1% of players provide 99% of the games money, and as such is aimed at people who want to spend money.)You can do roughly 90% of the game without paying. You can multiplayer and use other people's units. You get premium currency for just playing. But it will be slow. .3.

  • Do I want to spend time rerolling?

The deal with rerolling is that, in this game there are a portion of units that are top tier and significantly better than other units, and they are Festival Units. They can only be obtained through limited gacha's and have a very low pull rate (0.5%-2%). They are also often somewhat tuned to making one specific ultimate wizard quest easier and for endgame, one of them is usually highly recommended. Because of the low pull rate, it is common for players to reroll accounts until they get one in the first few pulls, they pull that rare Festival Unit to start off strong.
